New to the Clay Chimes collection is the Manatee Clay Wind Chime.
The Manatee is popularly called “Sea Cow” because it grazes on marine grasses and other water plants. Adult Manatees can grow to 8 - 14 feet with a weight of 440 - 1300 pounds. They feed in both fresh water and salt water, grazing from 6 to 8 hours per day. May your appreciation of these mammals aid in their preservation.
This unique wind chime with its delicately detailed images is formed from special clay fired at a high temperature.
Artisans hand tied each plate into a balanced position so that you can 'hear the ding' even in the gentlest breeze.
Featuring 7 strands with manatees and their young or single manatee in varying poses and positions.
